I haven't played Warriors of the North yet, but the other two are quite good, armoured princess and the other one. One of the best games I've played I think. Appreciate the suggestion thoughĮdit: Yeah, it's so bad that this was such a bad game. I'm not even looking for multiplayer.īut hey, sorry for the rant, it's not your fault. And I don't think it's good that I need to do all that just to play a game in offline mode. Imagine if then Ubisoft got bought by EA, now you have to use Steam to run the Uplay thing that runs the EA thing.

Otherwise it's a matter of chasing the rabbit, so to speak. For the convenience of having erything under a single roof. My problem is that I don't want to install any third party stuff because that's one of the reasons I use Steam. Originally posted by saganus00:Thanks for the suggestion Mr. This is something that simply is unacceptable. I'm deeply disappointed and won't be spending any more money on Ubisoft games and I'm giving a serious thought on buying more games from Steam. How is it possible that they even consider selling games that are basically unfinished and even then, "backed up" by a third party? This means that they won't solve any issues with the game, give any kind of support.really, the worst deal. I sure want my money back if it weren't for Steam not caring about third party apps (except when you give them money). I basically threw away 5 USD to get a pretty menu, although useless. Notice how it says "Name of Episode" and then just below "Episode short descriptionxxxggxx? So why did I download 10 GB of stuff if it doesn't even have the campaign?Ĭlicking on any of the buttons has absolutely no effect. This is what I get after clicking on "Campaign". The game is unfinished as you can see in the screenshot. I certainly can go without the multiplayer features so I said "let's try it!".Īfter putting the offline option, fired it up and yey! the game was loading without the UPlay crap!. If you search through the forums you can see a lot of people having problems and I am not the exception.Īfter seeing the UPlay crap, I searched high and low how to avoid this and found that a common workaround is to use "-offline" in the launch options. I hope this can be of help to anyone considering to buy this product.
